Ensuring Economic Security for All

2021 Virtual Policy Conference

The Academy’s 33rd annual policy conference, Ensuring Economic Security for All, is a virtual convening that will provide an opportunity for all stakeholders —including those who are most affected but not necessarily included in policymaking decisions—to delve into and unpack the latest policy proposals being discussed by federal and state officials, as well as policies that could be elevated further, such as universal basic income, a refundable child tax credit, federalizing unemployment insurance, and many other proposals.

Stakeholders will highlight the unique situations faced by the immigrant community, the homeless community, the formerly incarcerated community, the disabled community, agricultural workers, the Black community, Native Americans, and others.

This virtual conference is for policy experts, advocates for stakeholders, media/journalists, business leaders, philanthropists, and officials at all levels of government. If you’re interested in making Stakeholder Capitalism a reality, you don’t want to miss this conference.

The Ensuring Economic Security for All conference will take place shortly following the release of the final report of the Academy’s Economic Security Study Panel, which will examine policy options to assure adequate income for all individuals in the United States.
